Menu Process Optional Children Option When you select the optional children option from the Menu Processes screen, the menu processes Optional Children screen is displayed as shown below. This screen defines attributes to govern the discretionary invocation of another APPX process from the menu process image. These specifications include the name of the child process, the invocation type, and whether or not various activities at the child level affect the parent process.
